The historic town of Morrison, originally called Mt. Morrison, was conceived and developed in the 1860’s by George Morrison, a stonecutter from Scotland. The original town consisted only of 20 to 25 people, a few houses, & a couple of tents. The town soon grew & became a natural stopping off place for those headed to the mines in South Park & also served the tourists to the Red Rocks area & the workers involved in quarrying the rich local deposits of building materials.

Great lunch place! Spinach enchiladas are always a ten! Service with a smile and the patio in the back is where you want to be. Awesome atmosphere, very old school. Have to mention the classic rock that's rolling through the sound system. We love the vibe, also excellent game room if you are with your kids! Still have Galaga. LOL! FUN FOR EVERYONE!!!
We hit the patio for happy hour recently-incredible, friendly service and live music! Loved the chips, guacamole, and drinks. The salsa was sort of tomato-saucy, but that might be a regional preference here, and we're possibly used to a different style.
Food was amazing. I got the taco taco taco plate (shredded beef, pork carnitas, ground beef). Shredded beef was the best taco I've ever had! I would return for sure. Staff were sweet and attentive.
